Lara is a junior majoring in Human Physiology on the pre-medical track and minoring in International Relations. Her dream job is to be a pediatric orthopedic surgeon, which she witnessed firsthand this past summer as an intern at Boston Children’s Hospital. Lara is originally from Westchester, New York, but she loves New York City and hopes to live there one day. Her hobbies include dancing, Andy Samberg, guacamole, and Breaking Bad. Lara has been doing MUN since high school, but it was not until college that she found she enjoyed leading and organizing conferences more than being the delegate herself. During her two previous BosMUNs, Lara has served as the Chair of SPECPOL and then the USG of General Assemblies. Besides MUN, Lara is an active member of BU’s Global Medical Brigades and Alpha Epsilon Phi Sorority. Lara is extremely excited to serve as this BosMUN’s Secretary-General! This is an opportunity she is honored to have and cannot wait to experience.
Christina is a junior majoring in International Relations and Economics; she hopes to become a lawyer someday. Jupiter, Florida is her hometown but, if you know her, you know she prefers Boston’s snowy winters to Jupiter’s sunny beaches. She has a passion for salsa dancing, loves Hershey’s Almond bars and her guilty pleasure is binge watching Netflix. Christina fell in love with the world of MUN her freshman year at BU. She found it to be the perfect fit given her interest in learning about different cultures, traveling, and working to gain new perspectives. Christina has staffed two BarMUN and two BosMUN conferences. Outside of MUN, she is the College of Arts and Sciences Student Government President and is also a Dean’s Host there. Director General is a challenge Christina is honored to undertake; she cannot wait to get started!
