Mason Carlucci
Secretary-General
Mason (he/him) is a rising junior majoring in Data Science and minoring in Business Management & Administration. Mason is from Norwalk, CT, and will quickly remind you that Connecticut is the pizza capital of the world. He is a member of the MUN@BU travel team, ranked 10th in the World Division, and will be a crisis director in Boston University’s collegiate conference BarMUN. Mason is involved in Boston University Consulting Group and BU’s Student Government. When he’s not tracking statistics for the Yankees or Rangers he can be found hanging out with his friends, playing poker, or taking board games a little too seriously. After crisis-staffing BosMUN XXII and being Chief of Staff of BosMUN XXIII, he looks to make this BosMUN the best yet as Secretary-General! He looks forward to an awesome conference.

SENTHIL MEYYAPPAN
DIRECTOR-General
Senthil (he/him) is a fourth-year student at BU majoring in Political Science, International Relations, and Holocaust, Genocide, & Human Rights Studies with minors in Philosophy and Core on a pre-law track. Though born in Madurai, India, he grew up in central Virginia for the majority of his life, where he began his MUN career. He has competed in Model UN conferences since the 8th grade and has helped organize or staff conferences since the 9th grade. He just served as the Head Delegate of BU's competitive MUN team - ranked 4th in the World Division - and also staffs BosMUN's sister conference for the collegiate circuit - BarMUN. He additionally is serving as co-Presidents for BUIAA, the parent organization of MUN@BU, BosMUN, and BarMUN this year. Outside of MUN, he is actively involved in student government at BU as well as BU India Club. In his free time, he is a film fanatic - particularly foreign films - love watching a multitude of sports, and going out with my friends. aJAY RAMAN
DIRECTOR of DELEGATE AFFAIRS
Ajay Raman (he/him) is a student from Walpole Massachusetts, majoring in Economics and Mathematics in the class of 2026. Besides his role in BosMUN XXIV, he is the Senior Editor of the undergraduate economics journal and the Treasurer of the College of Arts and Sciences' student government. Beyond academics, Ajay is interested in exploring new cuisines and staying active through basketball, soccer, and tennis.

DIRECTOR of Finance
Richard (he/him) is a junior majoring in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Marketing. Within BUIAA, he has been a member of the MUN@BU team and has staffed both BosMUN conferences, giving him a thorough understanding of how the conferences should be run. At Boston University, he is involved in the Guerrilla Marketing Society and the Community Gardens Club as a way to build personal skills and engage with the BU community. In his free time, Richard enjoys cooking, listening to new music, and exploring Boston. As the Director of Finance, he looks forward to making BosMUN XXIV the best it can be and hopes all delegates have a great time!

AVANI MEHRA
director of Operations
Avani Mehra (she/her) is a junior studying Business Administration at the Questrom School of Business at Boston University. From Mamaroneck NY, Avani was not involved in Model UN until she was a Crisis Staffer for BarMUN XV. She also staffed BosMUN XXII as a photographer and BosMUN XXIII in the Secretariat as the Chief Information Director. At Boston University, Avani is an active member of the BU Bands. She is in the Color Guard, Winter Guard, and serves as the Student Office Worker and Recruitment Manager. In her free time, she enjoys playing video games, baking and reading.

amerah abderrazzaq
director of Conference Affairs
Amerah (she/her) is a junior pursuing a double major in International Relations and Economics with a minor in Arabic. She has been doing Model UN since her freshman year of high school and her first experience with BosMUN was as a delegate in 2020! She is the Head Delegate of the MUN at BU Team, which she has been a part of since coming to BU. She has also staffed BarMUN, the collegiate Model UN conference held by Boston University's International Affairs Association, in the roles of Crisis Staffer, Chair, and Crisis Director. After holding the position of Under-Secretary-General of Crisis Committees for BosMUN XXIII this past year, and previously serving as a Vice Chair for the World Meteorological Organization, Amerah is so excited to be returning to the BosMUN XXIV Secretariat as the Conference Affairs Director.

Sofía (she/her) is a junior double majoring in Film and Television Production and Advertising. She was born in Mexico City but has lived in Miami, Florida for the past 14 years. Since transferring to Boston University from Miami Dade College she has joined multiple BUTV10 productions; Head Editor Live with TY, Correspondent at Good Morning BU, The Wire, Shadows etc. She is also in her second term as a senator for COM student government and staffed last year's BosMUN. Outside of Model UN, She is also a Media Assistant at COM and is active in LATAM, the Film Business Club, Boston University’s Mexican Student Organization, and Alianza Latina. In her free time she crews on every student production set she can (acting including), a coffee puritan, plays and records her own music, paints, and likes to go out and do social activities.

Dia jain
Chief of Staff
Growing up in Edina, Minnesota, the unique weather of Boston is nothing new to Dia (she/her). As a #womaninstem, she is majoring in Neuroscience and Philosophy and minoring in Data Science. Dia has been involved with Model UN throughout all four years of high school, which is what inspired her to join MUN@BU. She currently competes on the traveling team, was an Assistance Crisis Director at BarMUN XVI, and chaired the SIF at BosMUN XXIII. At Boston University, Dia is also a staffer for the City Affairs department of the Student Government and a member of the Minds and Brain Society. When Dia has free time (which is rare), you can find her listening to music (and making playlists for every occasion), binging Sherlock, finding new thrift spots around Boston, and simply hanging out with friends! Dia is beyond excited to serve as Chief of Staff and can't wait to meet you all at BosMUN XXIV!

CARINE BADAWI
Under-Secretary-General of General assemblies
Carine Badawi (she/her) is a rising Junior, studying Neuroscience and Psychology on the Pre-Law track. Growing up in Boston, Carine has attended BosMUN as a delegate throughout her time in high school. Once at college, she continued to stay involved through staffing BosMUN XXII and XXIII. Aside from her interest in Model UN, Carine is also involved in the Women in Law club at BU and is interested in pursuing a career in Patent/Corporate Law. Additionally, Carine is passionate about raising awareness for mental health and enhancing public education on the subject. Outside of all things academic, Carine is a huge fan of Taylor Swift and Boston University Men's Hockey!

MALENA YEHYA
Under-Secretary-General of ECOSOC
Hailing from Orange County, California, Malena (she/her) won’t shut up about how California is superior to every state. When she is not complaining about the Boston weather, Malena is pursuing a major in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with a minor in Public Health. Being a woman- in-stem, what on Earth is Malena doing in model UN? Well, Malena has been involved in parliamentary debate throughout middle school and most of high school, and ever since then she has loved any opportunity to argue which is what led her to pursue model UN in college. Since joining Boston University’s Model UN team (MUN@BU), Malena has crisis-staffed the JCC at BarMUN XVI and chaired the COP28 at BosMUN XXIII. In addition to Model UN, Malena is a volunteer for Hearts for Homeless, is involved in BU’s Student Government as a part of the Advocacy Team and the FEAST branch, and is a part of an intramural volleyball team–even though she has played lacrosse and soccer for her entire life. When Malena has free time, she enjoys reading, knitting, and binging “Derry Girls”, which is possibly one of the greatest shows ever created. Malena is absolutely thrilled to serve as your Under-Secretary-General of ECOSOCs for BosMUN XXIV!!

RiO MARCUS
Under-Secretary-General of Specialized
Rio (he/him) is a sophomore from Portsmouth, New Hampshire studying Mathematics at Boston University. After leading his high school’s Model United Nations team for two years, Rio loves to staff and compete at various conferences as a member of Boston University’s MUN Team, MUN@BU. Outside of MUN, he enjoys biking, trying different restaurants around Boston, and watching B movies with his friends. An avid fan of Pink Floyd and a New England sports enthusiast, Rio is thankful to have made many meaningful connections at BU and looks forward to seeing delegates making similar connections at BosMUN XXIV!

Kaitlynn Cherry
Under-Secretary-General of Crisis
As a Vermonter, Kaitlynn is once again asking where are all the cows?? Though Kaitlynn isn’t farming and harvesting in Boston, she is pursuing a major in International Relations with a minor in Chinese. Having been head delegate of her high school Model UN team and a student editor for VTDigger, her various interests in local and global government have weaved themselves together. Currently, Kaitlynn is the director of training for the MUN@BU travel team, secretary of the International Affairs Association and served as a USG for BarMUN XVII. Kaitlynn is absolutely delighted to switch gears and serve as your Under-Secretary-General for BosMUN XXIV!
