The Press Corps is an integral part of BosMUN every year. Delegates in the Press Corps represent reporters from various news agencies around the world. They are tasked with keeping track of and reporting on the on goings of the BosMUN XV conference. Within their reports the delegates are to inform the other participants of the conference about the resolutions passed over the course of the weekend, as well as the debates being held within the various BosMUN committees. Press Corps delegates have the opportunity to interact with delegates from other committees and release breaking news. Delegates attend press conferences, conduct interviews, and sit in on important committee decisions. The Press Corps will also utilize Twitter and a blog over the course of the weekend to release updates about the conference and provide their own insights. Within the Press Corps delegates will debate amongst themselves the role of the media and possible tactics for mitigating issues that arise from working with the media. At the end of the conference the Press Corps will release and distribute a compilation of their work in the form of a newspaper.
